Baby-sitting!

So we had Juliana for the weekend, the beautiful 2 year old daughter of my brother's girlfriend. She was an angel almost all weekend. And she's so cute

On Saturday, we gave her noodles for lunch. She ate about half of it, accidentally dropping some on the floor in the meantime. My sister Tarryn told her that if she cleaned it up, she'd get a treat. She cleaned it up, and Tarryn took her into the kitchen to get her treat. She was so excited, telling me "My getting a treat!" Tarryn put Glad-wrap over the rest of the noodles and gave them to Juliana, saying "Here's your treat - noodles!" Juliana was obviously disappointed, but she took the bowl, said "Yeah..." and started walking away with it! We burst out laughing, and Tarryn gave her the treat, a tub of chocolate custard. My sister is cruel, but it was so cute that Juliana was just going to accept the "treat" without making a fuss.

I'm getting a new car soon!!! We're going to look for one on Saturday. I'm excited! I'll actually be able to drive on the highway, which is always a bonus! I haven't done that for so long. We'll even be able to go down to the coast! And to think that I used to take that for granted! I love cars that are better than mine (there are a lot). I love cars that actually work. And I'll be the owner of one very soon!!!
